So, has everyone moved over to blogger now? Were you able to move your whole blog and all of your posts? I moved too ... http://tianydavis.blogspot.com/ I hope we can keep in better touch now too! Tiany@cox.net
ReplyDeleteThe Lodge trip sounds wonderful in August!! :)
Happy Mother's Day!!
Very lovely thoughts. So, you are going back to the lodge. That's 4 miles up hill, too! Impressive! I need to get busy myself. I have sand dunes to climb in 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely Mother's Day. :o)
ReplyDelete"Bridal Bouquet" is one of my favourite spring-bloomers but my mom calls it "Bridal Veil"...it gorgeous not matter what it's called! Do you know how long it takes after planting before it starts to bloom?
Can you share what frugal books you've been reviewing? Thanks!
Good Morning! Could not leave a comment yesterday...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are back on line! Missed you!
I love Spark and YES it takes time to blog daily and such. But it is for a season and it works for me. I need the accountability. Most friends ( here at church etc) who do fitness etc do such extreams ( running, programs at the Y, etc) that I cannot join them. I need to move at my pace and every day is so different. ( because of the fibro)Spark allows me to do that and this go around one of my friends who lives close is also on Spark. My goal is simple. To be stronger. Not fatigued all the time.
I need to email you soon. No time today! Working. Have a lovely day. So glad Spring has found your part of the world as it was such a long winter for all of us. Spring is so sweet this year!
Mary,
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful reflections. I had to smile and give a small chuckle when you mentioned about trying to cut corners out of a circle. LOL! I think that all of us experience something like that in our lives on various levels.
Blessings,
Your SSiC (gottcha),
-L. Rose :)
This particular spring bloomer is Renaissance Spirea, the name we used at the large wholesale nursery that I worked at here in central MN. There is also a Bridal Veil Spirea which is pretty - but different. It's flowers bloom along the branching between it's leaves, not as abundantly or as longlasting in this climate. Most retail outfits know that people get the names mixed and just as long as you know what it looks like you should be fine. Have a lovely Tuesday Mary!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Mary and I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Oh I too am needing to cut more corners, the gas prices are eating our lunch...money that is!
ReplyDeleteLove your delight in saving, that is so encouraging to me...no pity party on your part.
Yes I am still homeschooling...I have a 15 year old and the young one will be in K next year. I am really tired to be honest and ready to throw in the towel...God will have to show me something or we will go a new direction next year...so I hope that doesn't disappoint.
Enjoy your spring.
Mary,
ReplyDeleteI think you're going to learn to cut so many corners you're going to have a beautiful snowflake in the end! :)
Loved the simplicity and beauty of this post.
Cheers!
