After a few days of getting ready for our friends coming for a visit from the coast and having a ton of fun visiting. I finally got a chance today to try out my birthday swift gift. What do I think? Ohhh it is soooooooo easy and so fun to use. No more sore back, no more awkwardness of trying to wind it with two chairs. It just moves soooooo swift'ly. [o= If you are a knitter and you don't have one... yet. Put it at the top of your wish list. ( I just wished I didn't wait so long to get my swift.)
Yeah! So glad you finally got to try out your swift! I guess I'll have to add one to my wish list... Enjoyed the peek inside your home. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings and happy knitting!

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. LOL! But, I am so glad you are happy with your new toy.

So glad it's working for you. Looks like fun. :)

Hello Mary!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried knitting yet so I don't know how this "gadget" works but it sure looks easy and fun. I'm happy for you.
Blessings!
Oh it looks great - I am a knitter but I tend to buy the already pre-wound balls and not the skeins. Is it cheaper to buy the skeins that you have to wind yourself? I'm currently knitting my little brain out getting ready for Christmas - I'm considering opening at Esty store. Do you have one? Enjoy your Saturday - Shelley
ReplyDeleteOh have fun...I have no idea anything about it, but I know how much I enjoy something new for the items I enjoy making. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat is one amazing machine! I hope it inspires you to make many lovely projects in the days ahead.
ReplyDeleteIt's like celebrating your birthday all over again! Happy swifting! Happy birthday! Happy friend! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Lori
I like that so much Mary! How was the visit? I pray that you had a good time and now are enjoying a bit of down time :)
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Maria
How exciting! It is nice to know what you chose! Good for you! You have lots of fun ahead of you.
ReplyDeleteA swift is what I've put off buying all these years. Just this week my obliging husband was holding out his hands for me while I wound some wool for another little sweater. The chair I once used was discarded during our last household move.
