In Training My Sons

Challenging are the times when mama and others are sick and there is so much to be done.  Does life carry on?  Yes.

I am thankful for willing hands of help.  I tell myself this will help my sons in the training of being a good future husband and father.  One day they will need to help even when the call gets challenging.  To be able to love others when they are sick.  Thank you Lord for this opportunity for them to grow into the men they need to be.

  1. Amen...and healing in Jesus name. They will have compassionate hearts.

  2. You certainly are looking on the bright side of being sick! But, it's so true. I'm sad to hear you've been sick.
    Take it slow. (((Hugs)))

  3. So sorry you're ill, the things we won't do to build character in our kids! I'm certain there are certain young ladies that will one day be thankful for your sacrifice. :)

    Blessings, Debbie

  4. So sorry to hear you're under the weather. Hope you and your men are well soon! :)

  5. Amen! As one who has been suffering with digestive issues for some time, I have been learning the art of humility, patience, suffering, and sacrifice through the simple but meaningful acts my husband does for me each day.

May your sons learn the true meaning of compassion from their father's example.

  6. such a beautiful picture, love the old fashioned part of it.
    Hope you feel better soon:)

  7. You are 100% right, Mary...and your future dil's will thank you! I'll keep on praying for your recovery from this crummy flu bug.

  8. When we are under the weather, we need to accept the help that comes from all sources :-) I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Take your time my friend. Rest and don't worry about everything that needs to be done... Love you, m

  9. You just found the sunshine in the sickness, and I love that.
I hope that by this time you are feeling better!

  10. That is so true. I hope you are feeling better. :)

  11. Sweet willing hands. Just so precious.
I hope you are feeling better now.

Thank you, each sweet comment brightens my day. Blessings!
