Our Snowy Homestead Pt. 1

Winter thought we were fooled and spring was on it's way... but I knew better. For all the years we have been here in the Kootenay's I have learned that there is a annual warm up in February and then it snaps cold again. We woke up today to a winter wonderland again. I will show more hopefully in the next day or two. Here is a taste of what we see out my backyard windows.

  2. I think the landscaping is beautiful! We don't get snow where I live, so I am not so sure if I would find it so beautiful if it was down here with me, tee hee. Enjoy your winter wonderland! :)

  4. Very pretty. We got some snow too, but it disappeared quickly. It's just not a normal winter for us.

  5. So wintery! We never had more than a couple of inches at a time this winter and it never stuck for more than a day. So, odd. I love your winter-wonderland!

  6. So as you may know, I do not like cold or winter. However, those pictures are beautiful. I would love to be in the middle of it.....inside the warm house looking out the window at it though, hahaha.

  8. Oh, Mary, I could stare at that all day. I wouldn't get any work done. (Hi, by the way!)

I was absent from blog-ville for a few weeks, but am back in the swing of things. I hope you enjoy your winter wonderland, but not for too much longer! I'm very ready for spring. :)

    Love,
    Christine

  9. Just lovely, Mary! Thanks for sharing. :) We woke to snow Saturday morning (unexpectedly!) and it snowed again yesterday, so the scenery here is looking just the way I like it to in February...I'm just not quite ready for spring.

Have a blessed week, my friend, ~Lisa

  10. Mary, it's just magnificent! I know it's cold, but oh how you must love the view.

I also read about the progress with your shoulder in the previous post. I know exactly what you mean about trusting in the season. I'm in a season myself. I send you a very warm and sympathetic one armed hug.
