My all time favorite squash is pumpkin...to grow or to make into something good to eat. Just recently I found two VERY good recipes I have to draw your attention too. They are Simple Pumpkin Muffins at Lisa's and Pumpkin Scones over at Debbie's. Now you would think the day after I hosted Thanksgiving dinner that the only thing I would have done is found a comfy chair and did nothing but knit all day. But...I didn't. I had some left over pumpkin puree and I knew what I wanted to make. I have been drooling over these recipes and had to make them. They both were huge hits in my home! Today I still have a bit more puree so I will be making more of these goodies and freezing them for another day.
I've been wanting to try pumpkin scones, and my cousing gave me that same recipe. Are all scones made with half&half? It's not something I keep on hand and I'm hoping to find a scone recipe that doesn't call for it. I still have pumpkin puree frozen from last year, guess I need a few more pumpkin recipes. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and one last question about T-Tapp, what cardiovascular exercise do you do? Do you just try something simple like walking every day or biking? Or do you still do a workout DVD? Hopefully that will be my last question. :)
JoAnn,
ReplyDeleteI used whole milk when I made the recipe and it turned out great. I don't buy half and half. I also used pastry whole wheat flour and it turned out real yummy! [o=
I found this link talking about cardio on a t-tapp forum. It has a lot of info. I suggest looking at it.
Ohh here is the link for the cardio question. ((blush))

These look absolutely declicious!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary for all the T-Tapp info. Now I'm excited try but not sure if I should 'settle' on just the BWO+ DVD. But I saw some pictures of the t-tapp secret for a flat stomach and was a little worried. I'm not sure I'm going to understand how this thing works. Those movements (still photos) looked hard.
ReplyDeleteThe scones looks really yummy, Mary. :) Thanks for linking to our recipe. We're ready to bake again this weekend and are going to have to try those scones. Did you follow the recipe exactly or sub with whole wheat? What about the sugar?
ReplyDeleteBlessings, ~Lisa
Mary, how on earth are you losing inches when you are baking like that? ;)

Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI allow myself one treat( maybe two) a week. [o= Then I am a good girl the rest of the time, well most of the time. [o;
...Mary
Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI did use the whole wheat pastry and I used milk instead of half and half. Next time I am going to half the drizzle and sparingly drizzle next time, lol. I was learning how to do it and now I know. [o=
JoAnn,
I know what you mean but you will get the hang of it over time. It really is something you start getting into a groove with. [o=
Blessings!
