First Snow Today!

I had to pop in and say today was the First snow of the year ! I hope to be posting a update on my goings on tomorrow. I just needed a blog break for a bit, it also had to do with business and some had to do with some melancholy moods. Doing better today. So what is interesting in your life today? [o=

  1. Wow...how fun! Though I must admit I don't think I could handle snow just now...but I do know that the first snow of the season always brightens my day, even so. I hope it did yours!

  3. Oh my, you have snow before we do! I'm sure it will happen here any day too, just glad I got all the leaves raked up before it comes.

I've had that melancholy mood too. Wonder if it's the change in season and the days getting shorter. I bumped up my daily vitamin D, hoping it will help.

    Have a lovely cozy evening.

  4. Oh, snow!!!!!! What a wonderful day for me to come back!!!!! Oh, Mary, take photos of it for me, will you? I've determined we've not yet moved far enough north, lttn. So glad to hear all is well, and melancholy has a way of visiting unexpectedly and unwanted, I know. Feel better, sweetie, and if it takes a day of simply knitting, then I suppose you must suffer that to recover. :)

    Oh, I have missed you!
    Blessings,

  5. I forgot that you get snow where you live. It doesn't snow in my part of the world, but the temperatures are getting cooler, so it's finally starting to feel more like autumn and not summertime.

I pray that the Lord will lift your melancholy moods. I've been having a few of those myself as of late. Too bad we didn't live closer. Then we could help uplift each other up with friendship and fellowship. :)

  6. Mary! How exciting! We've had a cold snap here in our area and actually had our first frost last night. I thought of you and wondered if you'd gotten any snow yet. Light a fire in your wood stove and curl up with your knitting or a good book!

    Praying for you, ~Lisa :)

  7. My goodness, it seems like just a couple of weeks ago, you were getting excited about Spring and garden planting! I sure do not want to see the snow flying right now! Stay warm!

  8. Wow, snow. We had a day of it a couple of weeks ago, but it's been clear now. Will it stick with you?

Oh, I hurt my back not doing my T-Tapp right, so now I'm resting for a few days, then getting back to it SLOWLY. I'm thinking of buying MORE when I get the money instead of BWO+, we'll just have to see. :)

  9. Thank you for all your sweet encouragement. [o=

No the snow didn't stick. It just means it is getting closer to the time. I will have to harvest the rose hips soon to make rose hip syrup soon!

    Blessings and ((HUGS))!

  10. Oh Mary - this is why I don't miss living in Alberta!! Too much snow - hope it melts quickly!! I agree with your freind - I think you should close the doors - stay in your PJ's and knit for pleasure for a day ... it's a wise woman who knows when to rest a little - hope your heart feels better soon x

  11. Well, certainly NOTHING as interesting as SNOW. We have cotton in the field. Does that count?
