PS: Please, if you have a moment, pray for God to move powerfully regarding an extended family issue, so we would know exactly what He wants us to do. Thank you, dear friend!

  13. Oooh, Mary, yum! I've never had currants. And I must confess--I read through your comments to see if someone said what they were!! :) Currant jam sounds wonderful. Gardening is my favorite thing about summer.

Have a bountiful day in the Lord!!

    Love,
    Christine

  14. Thanks for sharing photos of your garden's abundance! We're still picking fresh strawberries every morning for breakfast and enjoying green salads for lunch; what a blessing it is to enjoy the fruits of one's labors! Enjoy those raspberries! ~Lisa

  15. I'm impressed! It's all so lush and green. I guess the word "bountiful" best describes it. We're so dry and hot here that this looks like a piece of Eden.

And I also liked your post on portion control below. That is my number one issue. It's not the quality of what I eat, it's the quantity.

  16. Wow!! Your gardens are gorgeous! Seeing these photos reminds me I forgot to plant spinach. It's a wonder I haven't missed it sooner. Mmmm, and red currants. Yum!!

    Blessings!

Thanks for keeping me in your prayers Mary. I'm paying attention to all of the helpful advice and am putting much of it to use already.
